Love birds Jeppe and Jantine
“I will of course start with the highlight of this MAFS season: Jeppe and Jantine. These two made me happy every week. They really are the perfect example of how things should be done. And I even got a little emotional when I saw Jeppe final vows read. Really, I find him so sweet and endearing. Sun good guy Doesn’t everyone want it as a partner? I think they are great together and really hope that they remain married after the program.”
The curtain falls for David and Kim
“Then we move on to a couple who definitely won’t stay together happily ever after. We already knew from the previous episodes that these two were not each other’s perfect match, but I did not expect the final conversation to go like this. The letter that David read was really unkind. Other couples always remained respectful towards the other and respected each other, but David chose to give Kim another kick. Really not chic.
“I look for warmth and affection in a woman, I couldn’t find that with you, quite the opposite,” he said. Wow, I really thought this was so harsh and unjustified. I agree with Kim that she thinks he is ‘not such a sweet man’. Because he definitely doesn’t come across that way. Poor girl, I wish her a nice, cheerful guy like Jeppe. She deserved that.”
Erik and Gerben’s divorce
It is no surprise that Erik and Gerben divorced. But what I didn’t expect is that Erik wanted to stay married. A real plot twist! Why has he not taken action for so long and is he now declaring his love? I still find that very special. I also thought he reacted quite coldly and emotionlessly when Gerben said he wanted a divorce. That’s not nice news at all and yet it doesn’t seem to bother him much. Or he is one poker face master Or it didn’t bother him that much. I still can’t fathom this guy after 22 episodes.”
Jerney and Jeffrey are over and done with
“I thought Jerney and Jeffrey were the best couple for a long time. But I was still very wrong, because the two did not reach the finish line. I think it was mainly Jeffrey who didn’t like it anymore. Afterwards you also noticed that he spoke less highly of Jerney than the other way around. And Jerney already indicated that she also missed the physical part. Too bad things didn’t work out between the two of them. But it’s good to see that they can still get along normally. Other couples can learn something from this.”
