Married at First Sight
This week Merel and Robin discuss episodes 21 and 22, the very last episode of Married at First Sight. It’s a shame that the season is over, but some candidates will certainly not miss the podcasters. They no longer have anything to say about Malou and Sarath. Suzanne and Bastiaan treat each other respectfully until the bitter end, which they can appreciate.
Where the ending does not end well at all is with Kim and David. David reads a particularly unpleasant letter in which he puts Kim down quite a bit. Not really chic. Kim, on the other hand, tries to be positive, although she does say after his letter that ‘David is not such a nice man’. And this is also evident from his letter. It’s a good thing these two got divorced because this match really wasn’t good.
Another mismatch this season was the MAFS couple Gerben and Erik. Gerben did everything he could to make the marriage work, but Erik wanted to take things so calmly that nothing at all happened between the two. Yet he unexpectedly says that he would like to remain married. Plot twist! The podcast makers didn’t see that coming. However, Gerben decides that it is time to divorce. Erik shows no emotion at all, despite the bad news. It’s over between those two.
