We all know Jeppe (29) from the last season of ‘Married at First Sight’. He married Jantine (31) and the two are still happy together. Since his participation in ‘MAFS’, Jeppe has gained quite a few kilos. He believes that things really need to change now.
“Immediately after the honeymoon, the 6.5 kilos were back”
During the wedding, Jeppe wore a dark blue suit, but unfortunately he can no longer wear it. “At the time of the wedding I weighed 83 kilos, but right now I weigh 103 kilos.” According to Jeppe, it has everything to do with the so-called crash diet that he followed just before the wedding. This resulted in him losing 6.5 kilos at the last minute. But as quickly as those pounds came off, they came back just as quickly. “Immediately after the honeymoon, the 6.5 kilos were back.”
According to Jeppe, the crash diet does not work to maintain his target weight. This time he decides to take it easier. “We’re going to do it right this time so it’s sustainable.” He hopes to reduce his weight to 80 kilos, so that he can feel fit in his own body again.

On Instagram, Jeppe consciously keeps his followers informed about his battle against the kilos. He does this not only to show how difficult it can be to lose weight, but also ‘as a stick behind the door’. He hopes to achieve his goal faster this way. Strength training and following a protein-rich diet are especially planned. “And still leave the wine alone as much as possible,” says Jeppe.
