Former porn star Stormy Daniels has spoken for the first time in the criminal case against former American President Donald Trump. There were no cameras in the courtroom, but news agencies report that Daniels spoke in detail about the sex she allegedly had with Trump in a hotel room.

It is the first criminal case against an American ex-president in the history of the United States. The 77-year-old Trump is on trial for paying hush money to the ex-porn actress. He would have wanted to prevent a sex scandal in the run-up to the 2016 presidential elections, which were won by Trump. The two are said to have had an affair in 2006.

“When he opened the door he was wearing satin pajamas,” Daniels said in court today. “After I went to the bathroom, Trump was suddenly lying on the bed in his boxer shorts and T-shirt.” The former president sat in the courtroom a few feet away and watched in silence.

Forgery

According to Daniels, Trump did not use a condom during the sex the two allegedly had. All details that Daniels wanted to reveal in 2016 when Trump participated in the presidential elections. Trump would have wanted to prevent that by paying her $130,000.

He claimed that payment as legal costs and that would amount to forgery. If it can be proven that Trump indeed committed forgery to influence the outcome of the election, this is a criminal offense. In that case, he could receive a maximum prison sentence of four years. The former president has always denied Daniels’ accusations.

There are four criminal cases against him in total. These include Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election results. That issue will likely not be addressed until after the November presidential election.
