On May 23, Scandinavian clothing care brand Steamery will celebrate its 10th anniversary by publishing a book together with world-renowned publisher Penguin Random House. “The Art of Clothing Care” is a comprehensive guide on how to care for your clothes to make your wardrobe last longer.

For the past decade, Steamery has been committed to providing simple, efficient solutions to care for your clothes so they last longer. To celebrate this milestone, Steamery has teamed up with Ebury Publishing, a division of Penguin Random House, to release the new book “The Art of Clothing Care – A guide to making your wardrobe last”.

The book was compiled by professionals from the garment care industry and contains the knowledge that Steamery has collected over the past ten years. The book gives the reader a wide range of practical tips to extend the lifespan of clothing. The book is a testament to Steamery’s journey over the past decade and their commitment to improving the care and longevity of clothing and enabling a more sustainable relationship with clothing. “The Art of Clothing Care” is poised to become a valuable source of information for anyone who wants to extend the life of their wardrobe and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Coinciding with its 10th anniversary, this inspiring book explores the origins of the brand and where it all started – in 2014 in Shanghai, when Frej Lewenhaupt, Martin Lingner and Petra Ringström Oxhamre founded the company. Steamery’s mission is to inspire and educate people to take better care of their clothing so that it looks good and lasts longer. It is estimated that Europeans only wear a piece of clothing seven to eight times on average before throwing it away. The book contains useful tips for freshening up your clothes without washing them, along with tools and techniques to extend the life of our clothes and much more. With the launch of “The Art of Clothing Care,” Steamery hopes to inspire the public to make simple and small changes in the way we view and treat our clothes.

“We are delighted that the renowned publishing house Penguin Random House will be publishing a book with us. The fact that we can share our passion for clothing care in a book and inspire others to take some simple steps to take better care of their clothes means so much for us,” says Frej Lewenhaupt, co-founder and CEO of Steamery.

“The Art of Clothing Care” is available in English only and can be pre-ordered now at penguin.co.uk/books. Starting May 23, it can be found online at steamerystockholm.com and at select resellers in multiple markets. The price of the book is £22/€30/$35.
