Prince William shared his 8-year-old daughter Charlotte’s favorite joke on Thursday. The 41-year-old British prince did this during a radio broadcast from St Michael’s Church of England High School in the town of Rowley Regis.
‘Dad Joke’
William was present to talk about mental health, among other things, but the Prince of Wales was also asked to tell a ‘Dad Joke’. A ‘Dad Joke’ is usually a pun, or a joke consisting of a question and answer.
Favorite joke
“What I’m going to do is tell a joke that is Charlotte’s favorite,” William introduced his joke. ‘She keeps telling me. But you have to join me,” William told the boys he was talking to. “It’s not a joke I can just tell.”
‘Interrupting cow’
“Knock, knock,” William said next. “Who’s there?” the boys asked. “Interrupting cow,” said William. When the boys want to say ‘interrupting cow’, William interrupts them by imitating the sound of a cow. “Mooooo,” said the prince. Then the boys at the table started laughing. ‘I hear that a lot at home now.’
