Irene Moors (56) and Carlo Boszhard (54) will provide a one-off comeback for the ‘Telekids’ program at the end of June. They will do this at the Foute Party of Qmusic, which will take place on June 28 and 29 in the Brabanthallen. The duo announced the news on Thursday in the Morning Show with ‘Mattie & Marieke’.
“Never again after that: this will be a big fat point”
The pair decided to do this because it has been exactly 25 years since Telekids disappeared from the air. Carlo and Irene revive the program during the Foute Party with ‘a musical journey along the… Telekids-highlights. “‘Tough Times’, ‘Harry the Stallion’, ‘We Are Better’, ‘The Flying Old Cake’ and ‘Giggle & Magic’.”

It will only be a medley of the songs, Irene warned in the broadcast. “We are not going to do everything we did back then and we should never do that, because that is so big in the viewer’s perception at the time,” she explains. “It will remain that way. It will never make it if we had done something like that again.” But at the Foute Party ‘the songs of yesteryear revive once again’.
It will be the only and last time that the pair will do some kind of reunion. “Never again after that: this will be a big fat point,” says Irene. The pair presented Telekids between 1989 and 1999 on RTL4.
