Hardstyle artists Showtek, Rooler and Dual Damage will be on the main stage of Defqon.1 this year. Popular artists such as Brennan Heart, Sub Zero Project and D-Block & S-Te-Fan can also be found on the line-up.
Defqon.1 starts on Thursday June 27 with artists such as Sound Rush and Mad Dog. On Friday, Ran-D opens the main stage. Later Showtek will also be programmed there. The DJ duo can be seen at the festival for the first time since 2008. The main stage will be closed on Friday by Frenchcore artist Sefa.
Rooler will be on the main stage for the first time on Saturday, just like hardcore artist Angerfist. An extensive final show is scheduled for Sunday. Just like in 2017, room is made for a large number of ‘legends’ – the most popular DJs of the past twenty years. The final show on Sunday lasts five hours this year instead of the usual three hours.
Defqon.1 is the largest festival in the world for harder styles in dance music. Tens of thousands of visitors come to Biddinghuizen every year, from more than a hundred different countries.
