Recordings of new season Gooische Vrouwen started: ‘Feels like coming home’ | Movies & Series

“The laughter and the atmosphere during the recording of Gooische Vrouwen I really missed it,” says De Mol. “It feels like coming home. Cheryl’s life has not stood still, but she will of course always remain a real Gooische woman. Wonderful to dive into this character again.”

In addition to De Mol, other cast members can also be seen again, such as Tjitske Reidinga (Claire van Kampen), Susan Visser (Anouk Verschuur), Lies Visschedijk (Roelien Grootheeze), Peter Paul Muller (Martin Morero) and Beppie Melissen (Aunt Cor).

Director Will Koopman says that the first days of shooting “took some getting used to and were also exciting”. “But it Gooische Vrouwenfeeling is back to normal.”

Gooische Vrouwen is about four wealthy friends from the Gooi and was shown on television from 2005 to 2009. In the final year, the series received the Golden Televizier Ring. The series had already been nominated three times before.

Two films followed in 2011 and 2014, both of which attracted more than two million visitors. These are two of the most visited Dutch cinema films of recent decades.

The sixth season of Gooische Vrouwen can be seen next autumn on Videoland and SBS6.
