Attention Utrecht residents! Monday April 1 is Easter Monday. Because of this holiday, the waste collection days in Utrecht will change. We have listed for you when the garbage will be collected.

The municipality does not collect waste on Easter Monday. This applies to residual waste, vegetable, fruit and garden waste and to paper and cardboard. In addition, all Utrecht waste separation stations are closed.
Collection of waste outside the canals
- Monday April 1 (Easter Monday): moves to Tuesday April 2
- Tuesday April 2: moves to Wednesday April 3
- Wednesday April 3: moves to Thursday April 4
- Thursday April 4: moves to Friday April 5
- Friday April 5: moves to Saturday April 6
Collection of waste within the canals
Do you live in the center of Utrecht, within the canals? Then only the collection day of Monday April 1 (Easter Monday) will be canceled completely. On Tuesday 2, Wednesday 3, Thursday 4 and Friday 5 April, waste within the canals will be collected according to the regular schedule.
