I am going to Groningen by car, how do I get to the center easily?
Drive towards the center via the Bedumerweg, along this route you will come across several parking garages. The organization advises to park the car at a P+R parking lot and to avoid the city center due to the expected crowds and the work regarding Operation Ring South.
How does a P+R parking lot work?
This is a car park outside the city from where buses run to the city center. It costs 6 euros to park all day, including return bus tickets for up to five people.
Which bus stops are near the center?
There are three stops on the edge of the city center: on the west side at Westerhaven, on the south side at the Gedempte Zuiderdiep or Gedempte Kattendiep and at the Provincial Hall and the Stadsschouwburg on the east side of the center. From here you can easily walk to the flower market.
