It is not yet clear whether the dead are also club employees or just construction workers. The renovation of the Masquerade club was supposed to take a month. According to the website, there is room for 4,000 partygoers.

Nothing is yet known about the cause of the fire. Authorities have since arrested six people, including a manager and the leader of the renovation. They will be questioned.
