Dutch woman shot dead in Colombia restaurant

A 25-year-old Dutch woman has been killed in a shooting in Colombia, a local radio station reported. A Brazilian was also killed. Two others were injured.

The shooting took place in the far south of the country, in Leticia. It is located on the border with both Brazil and Peru, in the Amazonas department.

The motive for the shooting is still unclear. Eyewitnesses say two men entered the restaurant and started shooting. The two fatalities were talking to each other.

They were taken to hospital, but succumbed to their injuries. The two injured are men living in Leticia.
