The victim who was injured in a stabbing on the Tilburgse Heuvel on Wednesday evening around ten o’clock is a 16-year-old boy. According to the police, he is approachable and is reporting the incident.
The reason was a fight outside between a group of young people, the police reported on Thursday morning. The 16-year-old was stabbed in the head and arm with a knife. A police officer provided first aid.
The boy was taken to hospital. Meanwhile, the perpetrator ran away. The knife he used has been found and is being examined. The police are investigating the case and are looking for images of the incident and the escaped perpetrator.
It is not known whether the perpetrator and victim knew each other.
Just before the stabbing, an air ambulance landed nearby, in the middle of the intersection of Spoorlaan and Heuvelring. That was for another report, a moviegoer who had become unwell. The helicopter attracted a lot of attention.
