‘I’m really drunk, I really didn’t know this!’

was surprised by reporter Maddy Janssen on his way to Stadhuisplein in Eindhoven on Monday evening for the PSV celebration. Janssen produces items for PSV TV, which made Til think that his interview would be broadcast on the channels of the Eindhoven club. At the time, Til, who said he was in an intoxicated state, was live on ESPN1.

“This is bizarre,” an extremely cheerful Til begins in conversation with Janssen about the festivities surrounding the PSV championship. “I will also sing at Stadhuisplein in a moment,” says the attacking midfielder of the Brabanders when he hears Guus Meeuwis singing. “I’m really drunk,” the former Feyenoord player then adds. Reporter Janssen notices that the PSV player has had quite a few alcoholic drinks, so she decides to ask him a question about his interview

“How do you feel about this being broadcast on ESPN?”, Janssen asks Til, who then responds with complete surprise. “Is this ESPN? I thought this was PSV TV,” says a laughing Til, who then points to Janssen and looks the reporter straight in the eye: “Do you work for ESPN? I didn’t know that, haha!”
