The fans traveling from Rotterdam can count on a nice gesture tonight from the Go Ahead Eagles supporters’ association for the Feyenoord away match, which kicks off in Deventer tonight at 9:00 PM. The Eagles’ supporters association has arranged two drinks for the accompanying Feyenoord supporters as a congratulations for last Sunday’s cup win against NEC.
“Football friends from South Rotterdam: congratulations on your cup victory,” the Deventer supporters’ association writes on their website. “On our behalf, two drinks for the away section to enjoy this match. We would like to come to you, you would like to come to us. Next time we would like to toast together.”
The competition match between Go Ahead Eagles and Feyenoord will kick off on Thursday evening at 9:00 PM in De Adelaarshorst. The match in round 31 of the Eredivisie is led by referee Erwin Blank. The previous meeting between Feyenoord and Go Ahead ended in a 3-1 victory for the Rotterdam team. If Arne Slot’s team does not win and leader PSV wins earlier in the evening, the team from Eindhoven will be the new national champion.
