IKEA has launched a new smart lamp in its TRÅDFRI smart home line. The E14 LED bulb produces bright white or colored light with 806 lumens.
The new IKEA TRÅDFRI LED lamp offers both dimmable white and colored lighting. The color temperature can be adjusted between 4000K cool white and a candlelight-like glow of 1780K. The estimated life of the lamp is 25,000 days and it consumes 0.2W in standby.
Home Smart and Dirigera hub
Like the other IKEA smart home gadgets, the new lamp can be controlled via IKEA’s own Home Smart app and the Dirigera hub. You can dim the brightness and adjust the color settings.
You can also control the lamp with the separately available STYRBAR remote control, which costs ten euros. The lamp is not compatible with a wired dimmer. The LED E14 806 lumen lamp costs 13.99 euros in the Netherlands.
More new smart home gadgets
