Who or what is God? What kind of book is the Bible? Where does the figure of Jesus come from? And why are the stories of and about Jesus still so valuable to all of us? In this book, Bas Ragas answers these questions and many more for you.
We live in a time when churches are being converted into apartment complexes, Christmas has become a fun family celebration and Easter is for many synonymous with the Easter Bunny and The Passion. After 30 years of secularization, haven’t we thrown the Christian baby out with the bathwater? Because we all go on meaning weekends, yoga retreats and mindfulness courses in Ibiza.
