Johan Derksen did not speak on Tuesday evening in Today Inside (VI) about the report that was filed against him earlier in the day. The analyst was also not asked in the broadcast about his reaction to the complaint of insult and discrimination filed against him by Mirka Antolovic from reporting center and knowledge center Tûmba. The declaration was briefly mentioned by presenter Wilfred Genee.

The report was made in response to a statement that Derksen made earlier this month about Member of Parliament Habtamu de Hoop of GroenLinks-PvdA. He said that Ethiopian-born De Hoop, who grew up in Friesland, is “not Frisian”.

Derksen previously said that he did not intend to apologize and that they were not “intended to be racist”. “I saw a boy with an African background who is going to promote the Frisian language.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Talpa said in response to the report that it had “taken note” that it had been made, but did not want to comment further on the substance. The company previously said it was “against any form of racism”.
