The film Costa!! was the successor to the classic film in 2022 Costa! by Johan Nijenhuis. Actors such as Daan Schuurmans and Katja Schuurman shone in that first part. Leading roles in the sequel were played by Abbey Hoes, Soy Kroon and Stephanie van der Eer, among others. However, those actors are no longer visible in the images that have been distributed of the new cast. It is unclear whether they will also play a role in the series.
However, a group of actors who also appeared in the film are participating, supplemented with some new names. Just like the film, the film is again directed by Jon Karthaus. The story is once again set in the Spanish seaside resort of Salou, although many recordings for the film also took place in Lloret de Mar.
After the first Costafilm, a series was also made, which was shown on BNN for four seasons. The cast also changed regularly. Froukje de Both, Bas Muijs and Sylvie Meis, among others, played important roles in it.
