Frans’ visit to the dietician provides hilarious images, viewers can’t stop laughing.

Frans Bauer wants to lose weight

Frans has not been satisfied with his appearance for a while and would like to lose some excess kilos. According to him, things especially went wrong during corona. “That was misery,” he explains. “Then I just sat opposite the refrigerator every day. I didn’t have a curly tail yet.”

Because his battle against the pounds has not proven to be very successful so far, the folk singer decides to seek help. He visits the dietician. He soon discovers that he has shrunk by 2.5 centimeters. According to the dietician, this has to do with his age. “Will that be because of the weight I’m carrying?” Frans jokes, but according to the dietitian that could indeed be possible.

Obesity

He is then allowed to stand on the scales and Frans is clearly shocked when he sees the number appear. “Ohhh, 111!” he says, a little upset. “Completely out of hand. Then am I obese or not?” The dietitian explains that his BMI of 34.4 indeed means that he is officially obese.

Unhealthy eating pattern

The dietician is curious about Frans’s eating habits. He then lists in detail what he eats in a day. “I eat bread in the morning. This can be brown bread, but preferably white. I regularly eat a piece of liverwurst in between meals. I also sometimes do fried eggs in the morning. With bread and bacon and butter.” Frans also admits that he also likes to eat chocolates. His son Jan intervenes and says that his father often drives to McDonald’s after his performances, claiming that he has not eaten enough, and then snack more at home. “I think his arteries are clogging up from all that cholesterol.”

According to son Christiaan junior, Frans’ motto is: “No matter how expensive life is, everything tastes better from the chip shop.” They all laugh out loud, but Frans is not exactly happy about it. “Oh, then I’m 30 kilos overweight. I just have to change my entire lifestyle.” The dietician comes up with a plan and gives him tips on what to do in difficult situations.

Mariska is blamed

Once home, Frans shares the news with his wife Mariska and blames her for his obesity. Frans claims that she often offers to help him, but then brings in all kinds of unhealthy products. “It’s all your fault,” he says. Mariska immediately defends herself: “Yes, bye! Hello, do I shove it all in my mouth?” Frans makes another attempt to defend himself with: “Who gets those groceries?” But Mariska answers: “Yes, who will take it out of the closet? It’s not all meant for you either.”

Meanwhile, Frans walks to the refrigerator to show where exactly things are going wrong. While taking the liverwurst, he accidentally steps on the paw of puppy Saartje, the newest member of the family. “Oh, my dog. There are 111 kilos on such a small paw,” he laughs, as he picks up the puppy to comfort her.
