Not really an answer to “But Odido is not on the KPN network, but on ODF? Or does this differ per region?”
Excuse me? In what world is this:
I think Odido uses all major fiber optic networks in the Netherlands; so twice XGS-PON (DFN¹ and KPN NetwerkNL) and (P2P) ODF
no response to:
But Odido is not on the KPN network, but on ODF, right? Or does this differ per region?
?!?
Even a link to a KPN page, so you can do ctrl+f “Odido” to check it yourself.
And some extra explanation because the question posed by the person I responded to gave the impression that Odido only operated on a single network, and not three. It was not mutually exclusive. I also gave some explanation about the differences in offer & price, which is not seen as undesirable by most here, since I only received the rating “+2 (informative)” eight times.
Then just say that Odido uses KPN WBA and KPN ODF
Open Dutch Fiber is not KPN, so calling it “KPN ODF” is a bit illogical, isn’t it? Clarification needed!
The whole explanation about tons of providers […]
Three is ten in your eyes?
[…] says very little, as does the price difference, as you forget the part that as a consumer of Odido in KPN (non OD-Fiber) area you pay the same when they deliver via ODF and ODF XGS-Pon.
I honestly don’t understand what you’re talking about. On the Odido website I saw that I had to pay €55 (at the time, don’t know if it still applies) instead of €45. I live outside ODF area, so I assumed it had something to do with that. Also, the maximum speed was 2 gig, and in other places eight, as can be seen in the response I linked to in my previous post:
Odido: Fiber optic 8000, 85 per month, 8 Gb down, 8 Gb Up
