Opening of the largest Miffy playground in the Netherlands

The municipality of Utrecht, together with BOERplay, has opened the largest Miffy playground in the Netherlands. The Juliana Park in the Zuilen district was the perfect place for this new playground. The old playground equipment was worn out and the neighborhood wanted a Miffy playground. Utrecht is Miffy’s hometown, but until now there was no such playground.

With this new playground, children can discover the world of Miffy. The play equipment is inspired by Miffy’s stories, such as ‘Miffy’s House’, ‘Miffy in the Zoo’, and ‘Miffy by the Sea’. Children can now play at Miffy’s house, swing with a giraffe and climb on a turtle.

Best public event
BOERplay is the only manufacturer that is allowed to make these Miffy devices, and they are proud of that. Miffy himself was present during the opening to approve the playground. Suzanne Schilderman, councilor for Public Space for the municipality of Utrecht, was also impressed. She even called this the nicest public event since the start of her career as a councilor.
