During the cremation of the rapper Boechi in the crematorium in Tilburg, a fight broke out among those present on Thursday. After the memorial service, Wednesday in the Willem II stadium, there was already fighting.
Initially there was a report of a shooting at the crematorium, but that turned out not to be true.
Hundreds of people gathered at the Willem II stadium in Tilburg on Wednesday afternoon to say goodbye to Boechi.
Thirty-year-old Ruchendell Windster, as Boechi is actually called, was shot dead on Curaçao on December 10. This happened in Willemstad, the capital of the island. Boechi was shot from a white car that drove by. He was on the island for performances.
A donation page has been created for his pregnant wife Niandy and their children. Other relatives and friends want to give the family a helping hand.
The fatal shooting at a gas station on the Ringbaan-Oost in Tilburg is also linked to the rapper’s funeral. According to various sources, people who were at the funeral service then shot at each other at that gas station.
A 37-year-old man was killed. Seven people have been arrested.
