Presumed Feyenoord line-up: playing time beckons for Milambo

Feyenoord does not have Igor Paixão available against Go Ahead Eagles. The expectations are that Calvin Stengs will not be available from kick-off. After the cup final, the midfielder is a doubt for the away match in Deventer. The Brazilian is suffering from hamstring problems and is therefore unavailable.

Trainer Arne Slot therefore has to figure out his starting line-up. Playing time beckons for Antoni Milambo. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder will replace Stengs. Milambo is well regarded at Slot and makes an eager impression in training. His development is also appreciated by the technical staff.

Mats Wieffer is not there. The midfielder must undergo an MRI scan to see if his injury is serious. Wieffer will be replaced by Ramiz Zerrouki on Thursday evening. Furthermore, no changes are expected in the starting line-up compared to last Sunday against NEC Nijmegen.

Lutsharel Geertruida may start as central defender. The born Rotterdammer exchanged positions with David Hancko during the cup final. The Slovak played at left back for a large part of the match and it went very well.
