Many people have shared their experience online from the early days of the Formula 1 weekend at the Red Bull Ring, and these people, especially women, don’t feel safe. The Austrian Grand Prix is attended by more than 50,000 Dutch fans, and they seem to have misbehaved. Women are called and whistled a lot, but racist and homophobic things have also been said. The Formula 1 leadership has already given a response.

Formula 1 fans have taken to Twitter to wonder about security at the Red Bull Ring. Folds in particular suffer from the Dutch fans who are present on the circuit in the mountains of Styria. The fans would shout unpleasant things and whistle at the women. These women feel unsafe because of this, and they hope that something will be done about it.

The Dutch fans already worked themselves in a bad light during Friday afternoon’s qualifying. Lewis Hamilton and George Russell crashed, followed by applause from the stands. Several drivers and team bosses, including Max Verstappen and Christian Horner, have already spoken out against this behaviour. In recent days, other fans were also bothered by the Dutch fans. They would have heard racist and homophobic things.
