According to a new rumor, Google will soon sell its Pixel Tablet without the docking station. This is currently included automatically. The search giant would also launch a stylus and keyboard for the tablet.

‘Google Pixel Tablet soon for sale without a dock’
Google does things slightly differently than the competition with its Pixel Tablet. Anyone who buys the device will automatically receive a docking station. You use this as a stand on which the tablet is also charged. Moreover, it contains speakers, so you can enjoy better sound.
Of course, the dock does mean a higher price, while you may not be looking for it at all. According to tasty Arsene Lupin Google will therefore also sell the Pixel Tablet without this dock from May 10. Furthermore, nothing seems to change on the tablet. So we don’t have to count on a faster chip or a better screen.
Google would launch two new accessories for the tablet. This involves a stylus, with which you make notes on the screen, and a keyboard. This makes the Pixel Tablet better equipped for productive tasks.
Currently it is mainly suitable for entertainment. Both the stylus and the keyboard cost about 100 euros each, according to Arsène Lupin. The dock will also remain available for purchase separately for 149 euros.

The Google Pixel Tablet with dock had a suggested retail price of 679 euros. You can currently get it for €569. It is not yet known how much the device will cost without a docking station.
Google’s tablet has a 10.95-inch LCD screen with a relatively low refresh rate of 60Hz. The Tensor G2 chip is fast enough for most tasks, although it may struggle with heavy 3D games or video editing. There is 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage space. We are of two minds regarding the Google Pixel Tablet. The device itself is beautifully finished and has excellent internal hardware. We would have liked to see a smoother and nicer AMOLED screen, especially for the asking price.
The price is very high at 679 euros, but that is also because a docking station is included as standard. We would have preferred that you could buy the tablet separately for 149 euros less, which means you would pay around 500 euros for it.
