It is possible to reduce CO2 emissions in greenhouse horticulture to 1.9 Mton instead of 4.3 Mton in 2030, according to research by CE Delft. By piling up drastic measures, emissions are burdened so heavily that every energy-saving investment naturally becomes profitable. The National Emission Ceiling for ESR sectors report recently concluded that greenhouse horticulture can save a lot with new stricter measures. How is that possible and do the current instruments work?
