‘Feel at home!’ That is the theme of the tenth edition of the Gelderland Prize for Spatial Quality. In this way, the province puts inspiring and surprising spatial projects in the spotlight. The entries have a chance to win a jury and audience prize of 10,000 euros.
Deputy Dirk Vreugdenhil: ‘Do you know that feeling that you are almost home after a holiday and that the church tower already greets you? A place of recognition. A place you are connected to. In short, a place where you feel at home! We are looking for the most beautiful examples that give you a feeling of ‘coming home’ in Gelderland.’
Spatial Quality
Since 2006, the province has awarded the Gelderland Prize for Spatial Quality every two years. With this we collect inspiring projects that make Gelderland more beautiful. We ask municipalities, residents and entrepreneurs to submit the best examples of spatial quality. The previous winners were Landgoederenzone de Baakse Beek and Vlindertuin de Zindering in Tiel.
Theme: feeling at home
The theme of the 10th edition is ‘feeling at home’. How do we create places where we feel at home by designing our living environment? We are looking for spatial projects that invite you to stay, meet and do things together. Now and in the future. These are places where space has been used in a smart and creative way. Projects that contribute to quality of life, living/working and leisure.

Until May 20, participants can submit their projects at www.gelderland.nl/gprk2024. The entries have a chance to win a professional prize and a jury prize of (both) 10,000 euros. Deputy Dirk Vreugdenhil will announce the winners in the autumn.
