Mel B has a new version of her biography Brutally Honest released. The Spice Girls singer has added three new chapters, in which she tells more about the abusive relationship with her ex Stephen Belafont.

The original book was published in 2018. Melanie Brown, as Mel B is really called, hopes to encourage more victims to tell their stories with the new version of her memoir.

“It is now 2024 and a lot has happened since my book came out,” the British singer tells the news agency Reuters. “I’m now engaged, I’ve bought my first house and I’ve come to terms with my past relationships.”

48-year-old Mel B became engaged to hairdresser Rory McPhee, thirteen years her junior, more than a year ago. Between 2007 and 2017 she was married to Belafont, with whom she has a daughter. The singer has accused her ex of emotional and physical abuse several times. He denies the accusations.

The English edition of the new version is now for sale.
