With the introduction of the new policy rules, land users can only submit hunting actions via the Damage Registration System (SRS). This applies to land users in the provinces of Drenthe, Flevoland, Gelderland, Groningen, Limburg, Overijssel, Utrecht and Zeeland.

Checking adequate use

In some cases, in order to receive compensation for wildlife damage, it is required that adequate use is made of the exemption or exemption for combating the animals causing damage. Adequate means hunting at least twice a week from the time the damage is discovered until the final appraisal. BIJ12 looks at the hunting actions to test the careful use of the exemption or exemption. With the introduction of the new policy rules, hunting activities in the above-mentioned provinces can only be submitted digitally via the Damage Registration System (SRS).

Agree in SRS

To view the hunting actions, the land user must agree to BIJ12 in the SRS (www.faunaschade.nl This link opens in a new tab). Actions are necessary within two weeks be entered after the valuation confirmation. Actions entered later will not be included in the assessment. Individual documents or emails with hunting actions will no longer be processed.

By giving timely approval in SRS, BIJ12 can start assessing the application immediately after receiving the final valuation report and it is no longer necessary to provide data afterwards. If no approval has been given in SRS and control was possible, the application for compensation may be rejected. It is therefore in the interest of the land user to agree to the SRS.

Land users who have already submitted an application but have not yet given approval will receive a message from BIJ12.
