If you want to go out this Easter weekend, it is best to plan outdoor activities on Sunday. There may be a spot of rain here and there on Saturday, but it promises to be lovely spring weather. If you are going out on Monday, it is best to take an umbrella with you.
Today it is slowly becoming more spring-like with clearing skies and weakening of the wind, says RTV Drenthe weatherman Hans Nienhuis. “Another local shower this afternoon, but most of Drenthe is dry with a degree of 13 or 14.”
On Holy Saturday, Drenthe benefits from ‘a bubble of very soft air’ above Germany. “I can say warm air, because in Germany it will be more than 20 degrees on a large scale. The east of Drenthe in particular will really benefit tomorrow: it will be 18 to 19 degrees locally,” Nienhuis predicts. The center and west of the province have to make do with one degree less.
The weatherman is keeping a close eye on things, because you may be able to enjoy yourself between some showers. It will become a little more unstable in the afternoon, but according to the weatherman it will remain dry in most places.
On Easter Sunday the warm air has already disappeared. It seems to remain dry, but the temperature is about 13 degrees Celsius. “A mix of sun, clouds and dry weather,” the weatherman summarizes. “And you should take advantage of that, because on Easter Monday we will experience a new disturbance: 12 to 13 degrees, but rain.”
