WOODEN In the eighth edition of his popular series Marc Meets Houten guitarist, composer and Edison Award winner Marc van Vugt invites you to his ‘theater living room’ on Saturday April 6 and introduces his musical friends to you. This time they are singer Sanne Rambags, guitarist Bram Stadhouders and singer/pianist Ineke Vandoorn. Music with intimate landscapes, exciting outbursts, Brazilian choro and a fairytale Scandinavian vibe.
Starting theater makers have to put in a lot of flying hours to grow into big, well-known names. With our Young Makers Playground we give young talents from various disciplines a place to play in our theater. On display on Sunday April 7: Shop window by Young Makers HKU and Can it be a little quieter? by Friction Company.
On Wednesday, April 10, it is time again for Talent On The Move, presenting new dance talents from Holland Dance Festival and Codarts Rotterdam. Come enjoy beautiful solos, duets and group pieces, from existing repertoire by international top choreographers and new work by young choreographic talents.

It is 1946 and the people in the city are balancing between the rush of liberation and the shortages of the past war. Delia is the caring type who has learned to deal with her tyrannical husband. Does she dare to strive for a better life after receiving a mysterious letter? On Friday April 12th Bonnard, Pierre et Marthe to see. When the painter Pierre Bonnard meets the enigmatic Marthe one day, he immediately falls in love. They are inseparable and live an idyllic existence. This changes when Pierre meets the young art student Renée; an encounter that drives Marthe to take her fate into her own hands.
