Suspect arrested in bus after reporting suspicious package in Amstelveen

The police have just arrested a suspect on a bus after a report of a suspicious package at Stadshart Amstelveen. Due to the suspicious situation, there is currently a lot of police on the scene. All other passengers are out of the bus safely.

After the police received a report about the suspicious situation at the shopping center, they responded en masse. The Meander street, towards the bus station, is closed off. The Amstelveen exit on the A9 from Amsterdam is closed.
