A fight five years ago has now earned Nicki Minaj and her partner a fine of no less than $500,000. A German security guard had charged the singer and her husband Kenneth Perry.

The judge just ruled in favor of the German. He was beaten up by the couple behind the scenes of a concert and suffered a broken jaw. He was attacked from behind, which immediately gave him no chance.

Victim Thomas Weidenmuller says the couple became enraged after he stood up for a female colleague. Nicki Minaj had hit the woman hard because a fan had managed to slip through the net and ended up next to her on stage.

Minaj did not appreciate the man’s intervention and threw a shoe at him. Then her husband lashed out and punched Weidenmuller in the face.

An ambulance had to be called and the security guard was taken to hospital. He had to stay there for ten days before continuing his recovery at home. As a result of the abuse, he now has five plates in his jaw.

Weidenmuller initially asked for $21,000 to cover all medical costs and $700,000 for his injuries and ongoing emotional damage. The judge reduced the amount to $503,318. During the entire legal process, Nicki Minaj and her husband never responded to letters and invitations from lawyers and the court.
