Frédérique Spigt and Annet Malherbe joined last night Khalid and Sophia to talk about their new theater tour, which is all about singer Elvis Presley. The duo performs their own rendition of an Elvis song at the end of the broadcast, but something didn’t go quite right there. And viewers do not hesitate to mention that things sounded “false”.
Singer Frédérique Spigt, who was recently in Dorst farm appeared, and actress Annet Malberbe joined forces musically. Spigt is a well-known singer, who gained fame through her time in the band I’ve Got The Bullets and later as a solo artist. And Malberbe appears next to an actress, like Spigt at the table Khalid and Sophia says that she is also a good singer.

The duo shows their version of the famous Elvis repertoire to the public in their theater show. They are musically accompanied by the North Pole Orchestra. An ode to the legendary pop idol. Because the ladies sing different lyrics several times and the harmony between the two singers also seems disturbed. Viewers quickly notice that the female singers actually sing “off-key”. And it is indeed hard to deny that they really sang off the beat here and there.
The reactions to their performance are therefore not tender. And the singers can count on a good dose of criticism. Nevertheless, there are also quite a few viewers who get the impression that something went wrong. For example, some write that both Spigt and Malherbe are actually good singers and it seems that technically something did not go quite right.
Female singers look doubtful
At the end of the performance, when Hilbrand begins the announcement, the two singers look at each other doubtfully. It seems that they themselves realized that their performance was not going well.
