After waiting a very long time, Oelinda is finally allowed to go on a date with Paul in the most recent episode of ‘The Bachelor’. She is confident and hopes for a good date, but the day turns out differently than she had imagined.

“I do have a certain feeling for him”
Monica Geuze visits the ladies to make an announcement. She lets the girls know that two of them can go on a one-on-one date with Paul and Rien. Femke is the lucky one for Rien and Oelinda can go on a date with Paul. “Finally on a date. I also thought it was such a shame to leave when I haven’t had a one-on-one date yet,” says Oelinda.
Paul hasn’t just arranged a date, the two are going skydiving. Luckily for him, Oelinda is a real daredevil and finds it ‘great’ to do it. “You see the island, you see the beautiful blue water, you feel the tension. She is looking forward to it, I am looking forward to it,” says Paul from the plane.
The two seem to be having a great time and after their jump they run into each other’s arms out of enthusiasm. “How cool was that.” After landing, a kiss is even exchanged between the two and that feels very good for Oelinda. “That felt appropriate at the time.”
To complete the date, the two get to know each other better while enjoying a drink, but Paul indicates that he cannot yet properly gauge Oelinda. He has the feeling that Oelinda is not really interested in him, because she only goes by her feelings. “My feeling is the most important thing,” she tells him. After an explanation of how her feelings work exactly, Paul says he understands her better and that does her good. “I do have a certain feeling for him.”
Upon returning to the villa, Oelinda wants to share all her experiences with the other girls and the kiss does not go undiscussed. “Most fantastic day ever,” she summarizes. And she also takes a moment with Paul at the cocktail party. “I think when I look at Paul’s top 4 right now, I’m number one or two at the moment.”
But she doesn’t feel that right, because at the rose ceremony she is still sent home by Paul. “I think ultimately my gut feeling is that there isn’t enough for me to have a romantic connection,” he tells her.
Even though Oelinda thinks it’s a shame, she ‘wouldn’t have wanted to miss this’. “It was a wrong assessment after all,” she says to the camera afterwards. For Paul, the decision to send her home was difficult, but she was the one he felt the least connection with. “Even though we did that together, I don’t feel it,” Paul refers to the date.
