Two electric cars from Hongqi are coming to the Netherlands this year

--

We know Hongqi in the Netherlands from the E-HS9, the only model that the brand currently supplies in the Netherlands. However, this is about to change. The Dutch importer confirms to Autovisie that two new electric cars are coming to our country this year.

More will be announced about the E-H7 and the E-HS7 at the Beijing Auto Show, where Autovisie is present. The L1 will also be shown here, although it is still unclear whether that model will also come to Europe.

Hongqi E-H7

The Hongqi E-H7 is the successor to the H7 with a fuel engine, which is currently driving around in China. The E stands for the electric drive of the model. The sedan is available as a 344 hp rear-wheel drive version, but also as a 620 hp AWD.

The entry-level car has a 75 kWh battery that will take you about 600 kilometers according to the Chinese measuring method, which is less strict than the WLTP. There is also a version with an 85 kWh battery pack, which is available with rear-wheel and four-wheel drive. With this package you can travel 690 and 640 kilometers respectively according to the same measuring method. The most expensive versions have a 111 kWh battery pack and are offered in China with a promised range of 760 or 820 kilometers, depending on whether you choose RWD or AWD. It is still unclear which versions of the Hongqi E-H7 will come to the Netherlands.

E-HS7

There will also be the Hongqi E-HS7, which is the SUV brother of the E-H7. The model has approximately the same specifications, although the range will be slightly less due to the shape. There are no definitive photos of the SUV yet.

Both have roughly the same interior with a 15.5-inch infotainment screen and a 6-inch LCD display behind the steering wheel. It remains to be seen what the final specifications will be for the models in the Netherlands. Do you want to stay informed of all the car news? Then subscribe to the Autovisie Newsletter.
